PGA and Autograph sign a partnership to create an NFT platform

The PGA, a prestigious professional journey about golf, has collaborated with the NFT open market Autograph to develop its own devoted NFT framework. The NFT platform is Tom Brady’s.

As per Sportico, this multi-year partnership will result in NFT material posted from PGA’s clips and player information records, with all marketplace revenue reverting to their athletes’ wallets. The innovative NFT system is expected to go live at the beginning of 2023.

The golf journey has joined other major sports leagues in inking long-term NFT agreements. However, it is the first to sign one with Autograph. The NFL and NBA already had long-term NFT trading market agreements with Flow distributed ledgers inventor Dapper Labs. In contrast, MLB has an NFT collaboration with no other than Candy Digital. The English Premier League, which plays football, is also broadening into this universe.

Slowly growing
