Major gaming and entertainment studio Orange Comet has partnered with Sui Layer 1 blockchain developer Mysten Labs to leverage its technology to launch immersive Web3 games. The collaboration will enable Orange Comet to use Sui’s platform to launch three games, with two coming this. Final Stardust and Degens& Dragons will be launched on May 18 and May 31, respectively, while The Walking Dead (Lands) will be launched on June 8.

Orange Comet was launched in 2020 and utilizes imaginative and innovative technology to create a next-level gaming experience for players. The platform operates with Hollywood-style production quality to create industry-defining digital content storytelling. Dave Broome, a veteran in the entertainment industry, leads it. Orange Comet will take advantage of Sui’s unique dynamic composability and object-based infrastructure to develop a wide range of high-quality games, NFT collections, and gaming franchises. The company is also setting up a new research division called Comet Labs, as part of its growth and expansion.

The Walking Dead: Lands is an original project created and owned by AMC Networks in collaboration with AMC Networks. On the other hand, Final Stardust was created in collaboration with Kinzora and Comet Labs while Degens & Dragons will be the original total of Comet Labs.

Comet Labs stated that it wants to develop a first-of-a-kind game for gamers by leveraging the game-changing aspects of the blockchain.
