The cinematic sci-fi game “Universe” has announced its entrance into the gaming community on the Ethereum scaling network Polygon. It also offers an immersive mini-game called “The Proving Grounds” which allows players to destroy bots while racing through a dystopian game environment. The Proving Grounds also seem very cinematic and beautiful and feel like the beginning of an AAA game.

The Game Was Developed By A Team Of Veteran Writers And Developers

Chief Executive Officer of Random Games, Tony Harman, noted that the game has a team of veteran writers and developers. While acting as president at the original developer, DMA Design, Harman helped to create the Grand Theft Auto game. Ransom Games writer Brent Friedman also contributed immensely to the development of popular games like Call of Duty and League of Legends. He also contributed to the development of TV series like “Star Trek: Enterprise,” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ransom Games Wyeth Ridgway commented on the development. He noted that the team wanted to show what the Unioverse heroes can do in a gameplay environment to showcase what can be expected in the future.

Also, the lighting was detailed and realistic during the Proving Grounds playtest. The environment looked like an alien film while the character movement was smooth and polished He added that the test was carried out successfully and the team is looking forward to creating the perfect gaming environment and an exciting experience for the gaming community.

Unioverse Will Take A Game-First In Its Upcoming Projects

Reyu was developed like a highly-detailed model, with its equal parts looking chiseled and menacing. It was also developed to have muscular exoskeletal armor, with a gun that looks like part riffle and what seems to be a magic laser sword.

Additionally, the Unioverse described Reyu as a “warrior monk,”. The firm is looking to develop more characters in the coming months to provide more character options for gamers.

Ridgeway also stated that the Unioverse will not be like a closed-source Web2 franchise, but more like a “Roblox for AAA gaming. He noted that the Unioverse assets are available for download by anyone, as it will enable them to tell their own stories based on the parent alone.

The franchise still has so many other projects they are working on. According to Ridgeway, the studio will be taking a community-first and game-first approach to their other projects, just like they did with this one. Ridgeway added that the next step would be the multiplayer, Battle Royale game.
