Zuckerberg Is The Villain In This New NFT-Inspired Game

A new NFT-inspired Web3 game has featured Mark Zuckerberg Cast as a villain. It features characters set to defend the Web3 space from the Zuckerberg character, who is a corporate overlord in the new NFT game. The game is set to release before the end of the year or early next year.

Many Players Have Shown Interest In The New Game

While Zuckerberg may frown at the idea of using his character as a villain, the game has been drawing a lot of interest from gamers in the Web3 space.

The gameplay features Zuckerberg as the in-game ZuckCorp, where the bunny gang from My Pet Hooligan NFT collection plays an important role.

According to the storyline, the NFT characters were initially forced to mine characters but are now free from the imposition. Following their freedom, they now roam the city with the villain’s former slaves Zuckbots, which is also an NFT collection that was released earlier this week.

The new game is developed by the indie animation technology company AMGI Studios. The firm has also received funding from major stakeholders in the industry, including Delphi Digital, Emfarsis, Yield Guild Games, and BitKraft Ventures.

AMGI Studious has 50 strong team members that consist of developers who have worked on popular games like Medal of Honor and Call to Duty. They have also worked with animators and artists from Pixar and Disney.

Zuckerberg Has A Keen Interest In Web3 And The Metaverse

Based on the game’s background, it promises to be exciting as the producer of the game Luke Paglia noted that the Zukbot-based cast focused on big corporations that mine the limited data available while making the users suffer while they profit from it.  “We are tapping into the ethos of what we see happening around us,” he added.

Zuckerberg has also been voicing his interest in the metaverse space. During the last Meta Connect conference, the Facebook chief demanded an open and interoperable metaverse that is “better for everyone.” He noted that Meta, Facebook’s parent company, is in high competition with Apple in the Metaverse.  Zuckerberg is still looking to widen the company’s interest in Wenb3 and the metaverse.
