Web3 Gaming Publisher Xterio Set to Launch A Gaming-Centric Blockchain

Web3 gaming publisher, Xterio, has announced a partnership deal with BNB Chain to launch its games on a layer-two blockchain that focuses on gaming.

The new gaming-centric blockchain will use BNB as its utility token to pay for gas. BNB will also be used to grow the infrastructure of the BNB Chain ecosystem. The technical expertise needed for this new blockchain will be offered by AltLayer.

Xterio to Scale Web3 Games with BNB

The partnership between Xterio and BNB Chain will see developers become part of the largest gaming catalog in the Web3 industry. Developers will also get a chance to tap into the vast base of two million uses on Xterio.

Some benefits that can be accrued by developers who choose to be part of this initiative include technical solutions. The players will also see players gain access to one of the largest gaming ecosystems focused on delivering high-quality games.

The partnership between BNB Chain and Xterio will present immersive gaming experiences for the players. These players will benefit from technological advancements in AI. They will also obtain digital ownership.

BNB Chain is one of the largest blockchain networks, and it will offer the critical marketing support needed by Xterio to launch joint campaigns and offer end-user referral programs.

The partnership is also beneficial on the marketing front. It will help Xterio reach more people across different blockchain protocols. It will also benefit from a vast pool of players while reducing friction for the players when distributing digital goods and paying for transactions.

Transforming Web3 Gaming

While speaking to Venture Beat, the CEO of Xterio, Michael Tong, opined that the platform wanted “to launch as many first-party games as possible.” Doing so will set the platform apart and help it leverage the benefits of web3 technology.

According to Tong, Xterio was at the forefront of the Web3 gaming ecosystem. The platform offered the best development skills and distribution expertise. He further noted that it had some of the largest first-party games under development and more than 45 gaming partners.

Xterio is growing its reach in the Web23 industry with a global community of more than two million users. The project is also attracting the attention of venture firms, having received $80 million in funding. Tong and co-founder Jeremy Horn are veterans of Web3 gaming and are well-positioned to drive the platform’s success.

“We plan on starting the marketing toward the end of April, hopefully, and then scaling from there,” Horn opined. “So that’s a massive deal for us. And that’s going to be on the value chain and allow players to seamlessly hold NFTs, transact with NFTs from the mobile platform into our marketplace.”
