Through this partnership, Tiny Digital Factory will release a limited edition of Aston Martin NFTs through the Polygon blockchain. The NFTs will be available to fans, allowing them to purchase and race within the next-generation Infinite Drive mobile game.

The first batch of 3,000 Aston Martin NFT cars will be released to the public after the collectibles are listed on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace on December 18. A whitelist of players will be able to buy this NFT collection on the first day it is listed. After this, general sales will be available from December 19.

The Aston Martin NFT cars include Vantage V8 Coupe, the Vantage GT3 racing model, and the 1980 Vantage V8 that appeared in the James Bond film, The Living Daylights. Every NFT has been designed to appear, feel and sound like its counterpart in the real world. The owners of the Aston Martin NFTs can use the car within the closed alpha of the Infinite Drive metaverse on Android and iOS devices.

The CEO of Tiny Digital Factory, Stéphane Baudet, noted that the objective of the Infinite Drive metaverse was to allow players to own and trade their dream cars while experiencing the thrilling sensation of driving these cards on the track.

“It’s truly remarkable that this vision has resonated so strongly with one of the world’s leading carmakers in Aston Martin – so much so that they have chosen to launch their first ever NFT cars with us. We’re still early in our journey, but we’re confident that Infinite Drive will become a poster child for the meaningful use of Web3 technology in gaming and collectible digital assets,” Baudet added.

NFTs launched on the Polygon blockchain

The Aston Martin NFTs have been created on the Polygon network. Polygon is a blockchain seeking to support the development of blockchain games such as Infinite Drive. The Vice President of business development at Polygon, Urvit Goel, issued a statement saying that after a successful mint in August, Infinite Drive was ready to take off in 2023.

The Infinite Drive project is currently in the alpha phase allowing NFT holders to organize and view their collections while racing against the community using officially licensed tracks. The entire game will have a free-to-play option on iOS and Android platforms.

One feature in the Infinite Drive roadmap is an in-gaming NFT marketplace, esports events, and a Web3 economy allowing the NFT holders to lease cars to other players while sharing in the winnings. The project could see significant success given that Tiny Digital Factory is one of the largest developers and publishers globally. The company was launched in 2017 by Baudet.
