‘Space Nation Online’ Ethereum Game Unveils Airdrop Incentives

Space Nation Online, an Ethereum-powered sci-fi MMORPG created on the Immutable zkEVM scaling network, unveiled a 10-week airdrop incentive program during the closed beta period.

On Monday, the holders of specific NFTs became qualified to obtain “OIK shards” (essentially airdrop points) for Space Nation Online. Every day at 9:05 UTC, a photo of NFT holders will be saved and those gamers will get their OIK shards.

This can be exchanged for OIK tokens at a 10:1 ratio. OIK serves as the main token for the broader Space Nation series.

Shards Will Lose Their Value Immediately Once The Event Wraps Up

The game was launched by gaming sector veterans Tony Tang and Jerome Wu in 2019. The video game developer based in Los Angeles is supported by film producer Roland Emmerich renowned as the “master of disaster” for producing the films Independence Day, 2012, and Stargate.

Throughout the “Cosmorathon” campaign, approximately 10 million OIK tokens will be distributed through an airdrop until the event concludes on June 16.

The quantity of shards players receive will depend on the NFT they possess. Prime Navigator NFT holders will earn 289.715 OIK shards each day, while the holders of Alpha Gate NFT will receive 539.572 OIK shards every day.

It’s crucial to remember that while shards do not have to be converted into tokens immediately, they will lose their value the moment the event finishes—immediately becoming worthless.
