Ronin is one of the largest gaming blockchains in the Web3 space. The blockchain has processed more than $4 billion in non-fungible token (NFT) transactions, with the collaboration with Ragnarok set to advance its gaming attributes.

Ronin Partners with Ragnarok: Monster World

The partnership seeks to bridge the gap between the Web2 and Web3 worlds. Ragnarok: Monster World is set to launch during the third quarter of the year. The deal with Ronin will mark the first time that a Web2 gaming IP is entering the blockchain space.

The game has been developed by Web3 development firm ZERO X AND (0x&), which is committed to transforming NFT gaming. The studio is also committed to technology innovations having integrated into the Startup Program by Google Cloud.

The team behind this game has experience creating popular Web2 titles such as Blade for Kakao and Shot Online. It is now planning to bring Web2 players into the Web3 industry by allowing them to access rewards using player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) features.

The co-founder and CEO of Sky Mavis, Trung Nguyen, noted that Ragnarok has a major impact on the Southeast Asian gaming culture. The platform was now working to realize the full potential of this sensation using blockchain technology.
