New Set of NFTs Revealed By Unioverse Creator Random Games

Random Games stands as a video game studio prioritizing their so-called community-owned title by the name of Unioverse. Recently, the studio has released the first set of Hero non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. The new set of NFTs is going by the name Reyu Genesis.

A Total of 20,000 New NFTs

As is the common trend among these NFTs, this set offers an array of distinct visual features for each of the Heroes in question. To make things more attractive, Random Games has integrated utility in these NFTs, as well, as it grants players access to future titles within the Unioverse franchise.

Random Games stated that there would be a total of 20,000 different Reyu Genesis NFTs for people to get, with different rarities for each of the wholly rendered 3D characters. Something of note is the so-called Reyu Pinnacle Collection: The top 11 rarest NFTs within the Reyu Genesis collection.

Giving It To Players For Free

Tony Harman stands as Random Games’ CEO, and has recently come out with a public statement about the matter. He emphasized the community’s importance to the Unioverse franchise, stating that they are the bedrock of this entire thing. As such, he expressed his deep gratitude to those that stood as early adopters, who were following their progress and actively engaging the community, as well. According to Harman, the release of the Reyu Genesis collection is Random Games’ way of saying thanks to this community of backers, promising great things to come in the future.

The Reyu Genesis Collection will be completely free should you have earned Protens by ownership of Unioverse collectibles. According to the lore of Unioverse, these Protens represent a source of energy needed to power the various forms of alien technology and serve more practically as the loyalty points of the franchise.

New Player on The Block

Random Games’ take on added utility to NFTs is an interesting one: The NFTs you collect will allow you access to any and all games published in the Unioverse, with the players in question being able to play the characters of the NFTs. As such, these NFTs are completely rendered 3D models of characters. In this case, all 20,000 NFTs represent Reyu, a Ja’Din warrior and one of the main protagonists of the franchise.

Random Games has enough confidence in its 3D models to allow users to visually inspect these NFTs, zooming in and out and focusing on specific aspects of the NFTs. According to Random Games, the Unioverse had gained significant traction during 2022’s last quarter. As a testament to this, Opensea has ranked Unioverse as 6th in terms of sales volume. According to the numbers, Opensea boasts an excess of 130,000 Unioverse accounts registered and around 104,000 owners of unique NFTs. The game’s Discord servers, the go-to messaging platform for video games, is said to have grown by 70% within the past month alone, with a number of users up to 24,000.
