Maincard launches on mainnet offering NFT-powered sports predictions

Maincard has unveiled its mainnet. Maincard is an NFT-powered sports predictions platform running in the Polygon blockchain. This platform supports several novel gameplay dynamics where users can earn digital assets after predicting the correct results of sports fixtures.

Maincard launches on mainnet

The players who want to participate in this game must hold a Maincard non-fungible token (NFT). This project has conducted several testnets since mid-September. It also boasts more than 14,000 users across 125 countries involved in the testing phase.

Maincard is a fantasy sports platform that runs on the Polygon blockchain. The platform allows users to predict the results of sports fixtures correctly. If the users are correct in their predictions, they receive rewards in cryptocurrencies or NFTs.

The early supporters of this project have received Maincard NFTs. These digital collectibles are needed to participate in the game. The early players have received these NFTs as a reward for their role in game development. The NFTs received will depend upon the contribution of these players to the project.

The Maincard NFTs can easily be traded on the marketplace. They can also be used within the game’s battle mode. The battle mode is where players select a sports event where they place their NFT in support of one of the teams.

If the player makes the correct prediction, they will earn MainCoins that can be exchanged for cash. MainCoins will be listed on exchanges during the first quarter of 2023, allowing the players to exchange them for other assets.

Every week, each of the top three players with the largest number of MainCoins will receive prizes in cash. The game also has a “Calls” mode where the players can compete against each other while putting up their Maincard NFTs. Players can also merge Maincards to generate powerful NFTs while accessing new features of the game.

Utility for Maincard NFTs

The Maincard platform provides access to two game modes: Battle and Calls. The Battle Mode is where the player risks their Maincard NFT to predict the outcome of sports matches while earning MainCoins when they make the correct prediction.

The number of MainCoins a player will receive after making correct predictions will depend upon the rarity of the Maincard NFT used. Moreover, the crypto rewards will be granted to the three best players with the largest number of MainCoins weekly.

When a player makes the wrong prediction, it diminishes the life of the Maincard NFT. This drops the number of MainCoins earned for the correct predictions. However, users can restore the lives of these NFTs by rebuilding their NFTs.

While participating in the Calls mode, players can compete against each other. The loser will forfeit their Maincard NFT to the winner of the game.

As aforementioned, there is also an option to merge Maincard NFTs. This creates a more powerful NFT. Players can also purchase powerful Maincard NFTs on the in-built marketplace of the app. The platform currently supports soccer, basketball, and League of Legends and plans to add more sports.
