India’s first music NFTs to debut on Jupiter Meta

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are becoming increasingly popular. NFTs are digital assets that have been adopted across different industries such as arts, music, gaming and more. NFTs now have a global reach, with the trading volumes reaching new highs.

In India, NFTs have become largely adopted. These digital assets now command a significant share of India’s crypto space. Jupiter Meta, an NFT marketplace based in India, has announced plans to launch music NFTs. These NFTs will be the first of their kind in India.

Music NFTs on Jupiter Meta

The music NFTs developed on Jupiter Meta will be launched as part of a metaverse concert. This concert will involve a solo performance by Karthik. The latter is a singer and composer. The virtual concert will happen on April 14, 2022.

The CEO of Jupiter Meta, Manasa Rajan, commented on the development, saying, “The metaverse isn’t just a buzzword anymore. It has real implications and brings actual value to the way we interact with one another and with intangibles such as culture and the sense of community.”

The tickets for those that want to attend the event are limited, and their prices are fixed. Those who buy these tickets will get them in the form of NFTs stored in a user’s wallet. The NFTs will contain a tradable value, allowing the holders to exchange them with others for a cost.

These NFT and metaverse offerings will offer ample benefits to music lovers. The visitors of the metaverse will have a chance to listen to classic hits. They will also have a unique chance of listening to new compositions. These new compositions will not have been heard elsewhere before being released on the platform.

Holders of these tickets will also receive music NFTs that contain new music tracks. These tracks are mainly geared toward personal use. IN instances where the owners of these music NFTs want to play the tracks for commercial use, it may attract royalties to the performer.

Using NFTs to interact with fans

Karthik noted that this initiative had given him a chance to connect with his fan base in a unique manner. This coincides with the primary reason why celebrities across the music and sports industries have adopted NFTs. NFTs are mainly used to bridge the barrier between celebrities and their fans.

“Doing something like this in the metaverse is beyond imagination. I’m really happy fans get to experience this special moment and own my new songs! IT is going to be rocking,” Karthik said.

Jupiter Meta is committed to bringing more people to the metaverse and bringing offerings that will support the growth of the virtual world. This is not the first initiative that Jupiter Meta has taken regarding the matter. The launch of these music NFTs comes as the country plans to develop its first unique digital wall art project dubbed the “Icons of Singara Chennai.”

Visitors to the Jupiter Meta virtual world will enter the venue not less than 30 minutes before the show commences. This time will allow the visitors to meet their friends in the space and explore the area to discover the different offerings available.

Those who want to pay for an experience in the digital venue can use internet banking, debit and credit cards. They can also make payments using UPI. This makes it convenient for users to access the virtual world because newbies do not have to go through the complex process of using a cryptocurrency wallet to buy a ticket.
