Hyundai IS Back With A Second NFT Collection

Hyundai returns to the nonfungible token (NFT) scene with a new collection of 5,000 Ioniq 6 collectibles. These new digital assets come with many perks that include fashion NFT drops, VIP event access, and a lot more. The collectibles had been airdropped to many random collectors for free.

The second collection comes after the successful launch of the first collection which attracted many users and investors from around the world.

What Does The Hyundai NFT Collection Offer?

The iconic car maker Hyundai Motor Co. has confirmed the release of a brand new NFT collection called Ioniq 6. The firm managed to airdrop the 5,000 digital assets to the collectors freely. This step allowed a wide range of nonfungible tokens and car enthusiasts to enjoy the new experience that comes with it.

Notably, Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 NFT collection features many holder perks:

• Early access to fashion-themed digital assets;
• VIP access to the firm’s virtual space ‘Planet Hyundai’;
• Virtual events are hosted mainly in the virtual space “Ioniq Digital Garage”.

In that context, the holders may get extra perks based on the NFTs’ rarities. There will be up to six themes to define rarities. They include Healing, Work, Stress-Free Driving, Fun Driving, Entertainment, and Socializing.

Executive VP Thomas Schemera said:

“Hyundai Motor has continuously explored new methods to connect and involve our customers. The IONIQ 6 NFT Collection is a meaningful endeavor to expand the boundary of NFTs from simple investment and possession to experiences and storytelling.”

Last spring, Hyundai surprisingly released some other limited-edition collectibles in conjunction with Meta Kongz.

Did Hyundai Unleash Any Other Collectibles?

Hyundai unveiled its debut NFT collection in April 2022. The “Metamobility Universe” drop was a collaboration project that the carmaker worked with Meta Kongz.

Interestingly, Hyundai’s previous NFT collection was quite exclusive compared to Ioniq 6. At the time, the firm released only 30 limited-edition NFTs. Accordingly, the 5,000 free collectibles airdropped this time will develop a diverse community.
