Ethereum Network Introduces Free ‘Kaidro’ NFT Mint As Ronin Reaches Record High Price

Ronin, a Gaming-focused Ethereum scaling network, has set a new record price, surpassing its 2022 record. The RON token increased to $4.45 early this week. Although it was disclosed that the price has dropped a little to $4.31, It’s still 12% higher for the day. The recent spike has propelled its seven-day profits to an astonishing 53% after a weekend pump.

Ronin Plans To Expand The Roster Of Games And Developers

Ronin’s previous peak price was $4.29, achieved at the beginning of 2022. That was before Axie Infinity’s flagship title began to lose momentum and the network faced a $622 million breach on its Ethereum mainnet bridge.

In the last few months, Ronin’s price has increased significantly thanks to the growth of Pixels, a Farm management game created around the PIXEL token and NFTs.

Pixels rolled out the token last month after various play-to-airdrop programs that sparked excitement around the game, although its daily user engagement has increased since then.

Sky Mavis, the developer behind the Ronin network and its Axie Infinity title, has revealed the upcoming game for the Ethereum gaming sidechain. The game is known as Kaidro, an Anime-inspired Fantasy game from the webcomic by Gadget-Bot Productions.

The Kaidro game was initially scheduled to debut on Immutable X, a different gaming-focused Ethereum scaling platform. But instead, it will launch only on Ronin. The game is set in a Desolate world where players fight adversaries using magic and mechanical suits. The Kaidro game revealed that it will host a free NFT mint next week Wednesday. Alongside continued assistance for Axie Infinity, Ronin is also bringing in more games and developers.

Ronin Network Aims To Improve The Crypto Gaming Experience

Every Ronin wallet can mint one complimentary “crate” in 24 hours starting at 9 pm ET. In that period, an infinite amount of NFT crates can be created. NFT holders can also receive one Kaidro avatar skin for free within Pixels.

PIXEL has also surged by almost 32% this week after achieving a record-high price last weekend. The governance token of Axie Infinity has also increased by 26% in the last seven days.

Ronin Network plans to revolutionize the Cryptogaming experience. The network wants to fix major problems like Ethereum’s slow transaction speeds and high gas fees.

This concentration has not only made the Axie Infinity game more enjoyable, but it also places Ronin as an important player in the world of Web3 gaming.
