Catheon Partners With Top Blockchain Firms To Launch GameFi Accelerator Program

Catheon Gaming has announced the launch of its GameFi Accelerator Program. According to the company, the new platform will offer support to upcoming blockchain gaming and metaverse developers globally.

Catheon is regarded as the fastest-growing integrated blockchain gaming and entertainment company. The firm is not alone on this project, as it has attracted several funding partners. They include Ava Labs, Algorand, Chainlink, BitKeep, Raible, Polygon, Phemex, Cointelegraph, and DIFC FinTech Hive.

The Program Will Offer Best-In-Class Support To Participants

The accelerator program will take advantage of Catheon’s gaming expertise as well as a strong line-up of blockchain, gaming, crypto exchanges, and venture capital, who will offer best-in-class support to the participants via panel discussions and workshops.

Chief Executive Officer of Catheon Gaming, William Wu, commented on the development.

“We are thrilled to support the growth of the next generation of blockchain games and metaverse projects,” he said, adding that the company will be supporting each project to help them to reach their potential.

Wu stated that the startups that will be participating in the program will be carefully selected by the firm’s experienced in-house gaming team. After picking them, the firm will introduce the startups as they develop a cross-chain gaming system.

The program will last for eight weeks and will be providing in-depth guidance to participants across five major aspects. These include marketing strategy, technical expertise, operations, fundraising, and community building.

The First Cohort Of The Program Will Be Launched In Q1 2023

Accelerator program director, Philippe Ho, also commented on the project, stating that the team is looking forward to collaboration with founders and partners. According to him, the aim is to lay out a strong foundation for the future of gaming.

A Demo Day is also planned for the accelerator program. Participants will join the alumni community after completing the program. Upon joining the community, they will get access to its ecosystem of partners while having the opportunity to benefit from strategic advice.

The first batch of the program is scheduled to kick off in the first quarter of 2023 and will feature 10 participants. Catheon Gaming revealed that it will organize about four cohorts every year to support the Web3 teams and projects.
