According to Urvit Goel, NFT games are superior to traditional games

The video game industry is among the most established. However, the industry underwent significant modifications with the introduction of distributed ledger technology or NFT. A great deal is happening in the business, such as game designers launching shops with blockchain technology.

These days, people would make income playing video games, but not the kind of income you couldn’t cash out. However, earnings can result in real money. Aside from just that, by incorporating the NFT framework, these groundbreaking games enable consumers to advertise their in-game products.

These features in blockchain-based gameplay prompted Urvit Goel, Polygon’s business innovation supervisor, to congratulate the industry. However, as per Urvit, mainstream games had already lost ground to NFT-integrated video games.

The other week, Goel spoke with a trustworthy source about his thoughts. This conversation in Seoul centered on why Polygon promotes NFT video games or why so many game designers now favor the environment. The business growth supervisor cited two well-known South Korean creators, Neowiz and Nexon, as being at the frontline of this movement of people.

For example, many traditional gamers typically purchase in-game products with real cash. They cannot, however, make money selling the same products for real cash should the need emerge. However, with the inclusion of NFT’s framework, video game players can purchase their products as NFT items and distribute them again after playing to recoup their investment.

On that related point, Goel believed that traditional video games are zero-sum. Thus per him, players should profit financially from their assets in video games. He believes that publishers should give players some control over their products. They could perhaps sell or hold on to them based on their needs.

Everyone is switching to NFTs.

Goel also noticed that classic gaming companies are considering shifting to NFTs and blockchain-based games. For instance, he mentioned Nexon, a well-known South Korean MapleStory publishing company that is now shifting its focus to GameFi.

Nexon announced via some videogames news organization how an on-chain edition of MapleStory might be released. Polygon is now also collaborating with Neowiz, another South Korean video game entrepreneur who has emerged on-chain.

Due to these transitions, Goel anticipates a ripple impact in the video game sector. He claims that for big companies like these to relocate to the blockchain, they’ve noticed the advantage of NFT gameplay over classic versions.

As a consequence, NFT games and GameFi have great potential. Goel thinks a great deal will happen soon with all these top companies worth a fortune accessing blockchain space.
