Mystic Moose to transform static NFTs into real-time 3D models

Mystic Moose, a gaming studio, has unveiled a new offering where people can convert their non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into real-time 3D models. Mystic Moose is one of the largest players in the NFT space, and the studio is behind some of the leading projects in the sector, such as Planet Mojo and Mojo Melee.

Besides launching this new initiative, Mystic Moose will integrate customizable features, create new creative opportunities for the Web3 industry, and support the community. The initiative aims to boost the growth of the NFT sector by ensuring that Mystic Moose focuses on new technology offerings.

Traditional NFTs usually have limitations, such as only being limited to images and static assets. However, Mojo Melee will become the first Web3 game that has adopted actual 3D models and animations in the form of digital collectibles. These items will enable users to explore their creativity and unique styles.

The CEO of Mystic Moose, Mike Levine, commented on the development saying, “For the first time, gamers will be able to modify and transform their owned digital collections on the blockchain with endless look and creativity. This marks the logical evolution of gaming NFTs. Most gamers are made in 3D, why shouldn’t digital collectibles also be?”

The focus of Mystic Moose in launching unique NFT offerings comes as the industry faces challenges venturing into the gaming industry. The platform could help NFTs overcome some of the main challenges facing these digital assets.

According to Levine, most of the NFTs in the market did not offer much utility, as all that people could get from owning these digital collectibles was 2D images or PFPs. Users that wanted to bring such NFTs into a game were usually unable to do so. However, Mystic Moose’s new offering would now unlock the utility for such NFTs.

Mystic Moose’s Champion Chest mint

Multiple developments have been happening within the Mystic Moose ecosystem because, on March 3, the platform conducted a successful Champion Chest mint. The platform is slated to reveal the first phase of its 3D NFT collectibles on March 16, 2023.

The champion chests will comprise four new Planet Mojo champions featuring real-time 3D models and animations. Players will also get to rotate or zoom the files and view them on some of the leading NFT marketplaces, such as OpenSea.

Moreover, those who own the Champions will get an opportunity to unlock them for play within the Mojo Melee ecosystem and all the future games launched by Planet Mojo. The existing Champion NFTs will be converted to 3D in the coming months.

Levine noted that the company’s 3D collectibles would unleash a new era of user-generated content. The platform would allow players to access their 3D assets, giving them more control. He noted that the company would continue focusing on this area by launching creator programs and other initiatives for the community.
