Thetan Arena NFT P2E Game

Thetan Arena, being a blockchain-based eSports video game, lets players gather their friends and create formidable teams to battle with others in a mainly competitive environment. Within the game, players are allowed to earn rewards for developing and applying their skills in the gaming experience.

In the multiplayer battle arena category game, the players have to buy characters as nonfungible tokens (NFTs) to allow them to engage in a variety of virtual battles. In that context, all players can earn Thetan Coins, which can be used to buy other NFT items required. Meanwhile, the secondary token is referred to as Thetan Gem used as a governance token.

A major use case of the $THC will be to donate to the game’s streaming services. It might be the streamers that assist in developing content for the game. Additionally, it can be used to contribute to the top contributors within the community, using their custom mode.

The Gameplay

The gameplay is set in the native Portuguese language, but the subtitles are in English. The free-to-play game integrates the competitive elements of Battle Royale (e.g. Fortnite) and MOBA like League of Legends and Dota. Those are the two modes that the players can now choose and Thetan Arena is continuously gathering user feedback to allow the community to choose the next battle mode.

The game was developed by experienced gaming and technology veterans who have been contributing to the sector for many years. They know and understand how everything works in the blockchain-enabled gaming sector.

CEO Khanh Nguyen spent nearly 7 years in game development working for Wolf Fun Studio. At the workplace, he was working in conjunction with the other members who helped launch this project.

Generally, Thetan has an experienced and balanced team that has lots of complementary skills and backgrounds. All of these co-founders have an enhanced understanding and exposure to blockchain technology. Currently, over 50 Thetan employees are supporting the team that launched this project.

Thetan Arena Game Model

Developers at Wolffun have huge plans for the future of this game. Thetan Arena launched a battle royale mode, token staking, and some new guild quests from 2022. The players can still access the alpha testing phase until the game becomes ready for use.

Coming in a free-to-play model, Thetan Arena lets everyone download it easily from any app store and then play it. That model makes Thetan unique when compared to the other play to earn titles that have to be purchased in advance. The purchasing creates some hurdles for the non-crypto-individuals to adopt.

Since Thetan Arena is the first of MOBA/ Battle Royale and one of the first free-to-earn games, the developers believe that the game will enjoy mass adoption in the coming months. Through rapid adoption rates, this game can introduce GameFi to the rest of the non-crypto world. Thus, the players can earn NFTs by participating in the game.

Developers say that more events and development milestones are in the pipeline with the project expected to be ready for public use in Q1 2023.
