Illuvium Unveils Trio of Web3 Games: Overworld, Arena, and Zero

Web3 gaming firm Illuvium will release three web3 games—Illuvium: Zero, Illuvium: Arena, and Illuvium: Overworld—on July 25. This release is a big success for the studio, which now has more than 250 workers.

It has also hired talents from famous companies like CD Projekt Red, Activision, and Ubisoft. Illuvium aims to offer different gameplay styles within one universe and wants to make the gaming experience better by allowing real ownership of items and having a detailed in-game economy.

Illuvium Wants To Create The Fastest-Growing High-Quality Gaming World

Illuvium has three games designed for many different players. Each game is different, but all are set in the same world. In Illuvium: Overworld, gamers explore a mysterious new planet, catch creatures called Illuvials, and uncover the planet’s secrets.

On the other hand, Illuvium: Arena is about fighting with strategy. Gamers can train their Illuvials and battle in different multiplayer modes. Illuvium: Zero is a mobile game where players build cities. They manage resources and plan their city’s growth.

Kieran Warwick, Chief Executive Officer of Illuvium, said they originally planned to make just one game. However, since the founding brothers had different ideas, they decided to create three separate games. The team wants to build the quickest triple-A gaming world ever and show what high-quality web3 games can do.

Illuvium Seeks To Build A Connected Gaming World

Illuvium’s connected system makes sure that progress and items in the game can be used across all three games. This makes playing more enjoyable and easier. Players own their in-game items completely, and these are safely kept in their Immutable Passport wallet and checked on the Ethereum blockchain. This way, gamers can trade, collect, and fully control their items.

ILV, the in-game currency, is very important for managing Illuvium’s system. Gamers can earn ILV by reaching high points and swap points for ILV at the end of each season. By staking ILV, gamers can help decide how the game develops and its economy, and they get rewards through Revenue Distribution (RevDis).

One of Illuvium’s special features is that assets can be used all over its games. Gamers can use their cosmetics, Illuvials, and other items in any of the three games, building a connected gaming world. All the games are free to play, but there are optional paid features. The aim is to build a dedicated player base with exciting experiences and fun gameplay.
