Axie Infinity Launches Homeland Avatar Mode

Axie Infinity is adding a new Homeland Avatar Mode, which lets players use their NFT Axie avatars to explore the Homeland map. The game will be released on July 17, 2024.

In Avatar Mode, gamers can move around the Homeland map, visit different places, and interact with other Lunacians in real-time. This new part of the game helps players make friends and interact with each other using new chat options in general, local, and global channels.

Axie Infinity is a card game where players collect, own, and use many creatures called Axies to fight. Players can defeat bad chimera in Adventure mode or compete against other players in the Arena to be the best. The web3 game is free to download and play on MacOS, PC, and Android.

Players in Axie Infinity gather and create NFTs that show axolotl-like digital pets called Axies. In Lunacia’s world, the land is divided into tokenized plots used as homes and bases for axies. Plots can be bought, built up, and improved with resources found in the game.

Axie Team Wants To Refine The Avatar Mode In Axie Infinity

The Axie team added Avatar Mode, where players can use their NFT Axies as characters to explore the game world. With this new feature, players can travel around the Homeland map, visit nearby places, and interact with other players right away.

To ensure every operation works well, Axie Infinity will have a test from July 17 to 24th. Players can try Avatar Mode, share their thoughts, and join events in four villages. Players might win special axies and land items by meeting up and sharing screenshots.

Join the community in these fun events during the Open Beta Test. Each gathering offers prizes like land items and collectible axies, giving players chances to try out the new features and connect with each other.

To join in, players need to share pictures of their best times at the meetups on X using #HomelandAvatar. Each event begins at 13:00 UTC (8 PM VN | 9 PM PH), and prizes will be given to those who post on X during these hours.
