Animoca Brands’ Mocaverse and TON Foundation Announce Partnership

Animoca Brand’s Mocaverse (Moca Network) is partnering with The Open Network (TON) to ensure speedy ecosystem growth across the TON Blockchain and Moca Network ecosystems. The collaboration will establish TON and Mocaverse as platforms for gaming, community engagement, and content.

Both Parties Want To Enhance the Web Gaming Experience

The partnership will draw resources and expertise from each partner to ensure more user engagement and promote development. The Moca Network will provide high-quality content focused on entertainment and culture on the TON platform.

Both companies will bring their unique features. TON has a broader user reach, being part of Telegram Messenger’s web3 infrastructure. The platform now has more than 900 million users.

Yat Siu, the co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, commented on the partnership. He stated that the collaboration between MOCA Foundation, TON Foundation, and Mocaverse is a significant step in the firm’s mission to advance digital property rights and enable web3 integration and adoption.

He added that the Realm Network SDK and Moca ID have been integrated into Telegram’s user base, giving the platforms more avenues to grow and expand. The partnership will enhance the platforms’ overall network effects.

The Partnership Will Improve Interoperability

One of the significant points of the partnership is the integration of reputation and identity systems like TON Society I and Moca ID, which enhances user growth and interoperability. The MOCA and TON Foundation will utilize token and go-to-market resources to improve user engagement across their ecosystems.

TON Foundation council President Steve Yun also commented on the partnership. He noted that the company’s goal of interaction freedom aligns with Animoca Brand’s goal of digital property rights.

The collaboration shows that TON is the go-to platform for social apps and games. It will allow users to express their values on the chain, increasing the mainstream adoption of blockchain applications.

The tokens of the two firms, Toncoin (TON) and MOCA Coin (MOCA), are worth $20 million. The companies will issue rewards to participants using these tokens through airdrops. The joint airdrops will improve engagement and adoption within both ecosystems. The partnership is bringing together two major web3 players, providing opportunities for value creation and scaling in blockchain gaming.

The collaboration will dwell on accelerator programs and hackathons to provide opportunities for developers. It will attract new users and introduce new tools to support the growth of global user adoption.
