They assemble any available old technology and antiques available to develop durable machinery. Due to their frugality, they became quite territorial and tensions came up between the cities that survived.

Brodium’s massive strength was discovered via an accidental encounter. The process of purifying Brodium to get its real essence, AOT, was developed as the research continued. Later, champions started to emerge. Some of them are motivated by an idealistic desire to unite all of Earth Zero. On the other hand, the rest are motivated just by greed.

On the planet, where sea transport proved irrelevant and the flight was hopeless, the battle for domination was mostly fought on land. Coming with the ability to develop and assemble armored vehicles, Iron Forges became the ultimate power. AOT is controlled by anyone who controls the tanks. Thus, anyone who has the power of the AOT has control of the whole earth.
