NFT version of Monopoly is available thanks to Chipsmore

The Chipsmore Metapoly, some reinvented Monopoly game with such a new notion of buildings in intriguing but over-the-top cookie-inspired areas, includes what the label claims are first-of-their-kind NFTs to be granted for free as prizes.

There is a sum of 28 unique NFT simulated assets and three components of 3D residences for the victors. These NFTs, which include the Cookie Galaxy, Crumble Castle, Cookie Quarters, and others, can be maintained as private selections. The NFT characteristics were conceptualized, designed, and developed by Leo Burnett Malaysia.

The partnership for the digital monopoly board competition started two years ago. According to Yvonne Lam, marketing director for Chipsmore Singapore and Malaysia at Mondelz International, the reaction from Malaysian colleagues from the initial two collaborative efforts was so positive that it was concluded to repeat the process. She went on to say that perhaps the third time should be the good one, and what more excellent way to take gamification to the next level than to make their first inroad into NFT?

A game for Malaysians

Lam clarified that the label always looks for new and exciting ways to interact with Malaysians. She stated that through NFTs, they hope to capitalize on this growing phenomenon by providing their fan base with a unique adventure while trying to connect them with items that captivate or pique their interest.

Pos Malaysia joined the NFT picture with NFT stickers to coincide with Malaysia Day or the National Day festivities. Each sticker folder, created in partnership with Pos Malaysia and small shops labeled APOM, includes one tangible stamp sheet with 14 stickers. Each has been crafted by a creator representing each province in Malaysia, displaying the state’s distinctiveness, heritage, and glory.

The complete set includes three packaging, three greeting cards, a notably crafted folder, and even a user manual for reclaiming the available NFT sticker. A small selection of 3,000 units will be offered to buy, with every set enabling hoarders to receive a single NFT sticker design until October 31, 2022.

In the meantime, APOM’s founder Chantelle Teoh explained that #Empatbelas is Apom’s annual Merdeka-Malaysia Day partnership project to rejoice Malaysia’s 14 provinces. She stated that this year, only with the assistance of Pos Malaysia, 14 chosen artists were allowed to re-imagine their regional glory on NFT stickers that supersede globally further than the numismatic society, in addition to the modest physical sticker that has attached Malaysians over the years. It’s an excellent great chance for local artists to display their work.
