Doodles NFT will launch Doodles 2 thanks to a $54M investment

FTX Ventures, Acrew Capital, which invested heavily in a novel distributed ledger endeavor called Aptos, and 10T Holdings, an investment firm in Animoca Brands that include Sandbox like a branch, also participated in the Series A financing round.

The corporation’s valuation increased to $704M due to the financing. The additional funds will broaden the NFT business’s presence in gaming and music.

Doodles NFTs debuted just under one year ago and have quickly become among the most popular NFT profile photo catalogs. The collection, which includes 10,000 distinctive pastel pictures, is prized at $121M, with starting prices at 6.9ETH. Its holders include pop singer Justin Bieber but also businessman Gary Vaynerchuk.

Bieber also possesses an NFT from the BAYC, a selection also aiming for a wider audience through songs. Celine Joshua, a Universal Music Group manager, spearheads a narrative storyline for a BAYC group named Kingship, which will include recordings and virtual world appearances. Joshua has enlisted the assistance of a Grammy-winning production pairing to help shape the digital band’s music.

Doodles, in contrast, has chosen singer and creator Pharrell Williams to serve as the image of its product as it raises the attention of entertainment NFTs. As per Leader Julian Hoguin, the objective is to provide amazing adventures for established Doodles owners while also using songs as an onramp for fresh Doodles customers. Within the next few months, Doodles would collaborate with Columbia Records to release the song’s NFT experience.

With Space Doodles, the NFT business is also dabbling in NFT video games. It would also try to attract new users to its platform by letting them buy personas without using cryptocurrency.

Doodles 2 is coming

To broaden its customer base, the business revealed the launch of Doodles 2, some expansion of the initial Doodles selection this year during NFT NYC. At the symposium, the business raffled off its Genesis Box NFTs, which are expected to perform an essential part in the new environment.

While the initial Doodles catalog contained 10,000 tokens, the Doodles group has proposed that the Doodles 2 selection could now number within the millions. Doodles 2 would include simple NFTs that may be decorated with different characteristics from the Genesis Boxes and utilized as profiles on social media.

Doodles 2 would not be available on Ethereum but instead on Dapper Labs’ crypto Flow, as some of Doodle’s founding members are old Dapper Labs staff members. Doodles 2 is yet to receive an official release date.
