DeGame Unveils Proof-Of-Contribution Platform After A $6.5M Raise

DeGame has announced its second fundraising that has generated $6.5 million. The project has also scheduled a genesis airdrop targeting DeGame users. DeGame is a platform that has listed more than 4,000 GameFi project data, and it has also partnered with over 100 GameFi chains, projects, and guilds.

DeGame launches a proof-of-contribution platform

The recent funding round was led by A&T Capital, Folius Ventures, and Kenetic Capital. The other investors that participated in the funding round include Avalanche, Golden Bull, NGC Ventures, Hack VC, Y2Z Ventures, Ranger Protocol, Bixin Ventures, Collingstar Capital, LucidBlue Ventures, and Sfermion.

DeGame analyzed the data seen from thousands of GameFi projects, and it detected that one of the largest challenges in the GameFi industry is bootstrapping. However, the number of GameFi projects that are available in the market has heavily relied on the support offered by early contributors during bootstrapping.

The contributors to the project include community ambassadors, airdrop users, community volunteers, content creators, and guild leaders, among others. These players have made significant contributions to the project.

DeGame has also proposed the use of proof-of-contribute to solve the issue of identifying the contributors and rewarding their contributions. DeGame will also come with a PoC tool and a PoC-based contribution algorithm that allows communities and users to create a PoC community for gaming projects, NFTs, guilds, protocols, and DAOs.

The PoC community also provides the verification of on-chain user behavior, verifies social accounts, and provides a data backend and a variety of tools that will help projects to manage the growth of users and performance-based promotion. It will also solve operational challenges, including attacks.

The CEO of DeGame, commented on the development, saying, “For GameFi projects, we are trying to combine Web2 and Web3 gamification user growth tools to create a next-generation community management infrastructure. We believe that in the PoC community, projects will be able to attract more volunteer contributors to participate in the projects while providing them with verification and rewards.”

DeGame’s PoC community could play a vital role

The users and the projects will also benefit from the PoC community by DeGame. The project allows the organization of the community to contribute to projects such as taking part in hackathons, creating and deploying DApps, starting community DAOs, and creating content for projects using AIGC, among others.

The founder of Folius Ventures and lead investor in Stepn, Jason Kam, noted that the DeGame team had been focused on the GameFi community, better economic scale analysis, and new user quests. Kam noted that he was impressed with the game content on DeGame and the financial talent.

After the PoC community is launched, DeGame will partner with some of the top projects in the GameFi industry for the release of the genesis airdrop for the individuals that contribute to the project. DeGame will also support the growth of its partner network and put resources together for the creation of a DeGame PoC platform. This platform will support the discovery of transformative projects.
