Deadfellaz Collectors Can Now Use Their JPEGs As Video Avatar On Virtual Hosts

The standard profile picture (PFP) is moving to a new height with the launch of the Ethereum NFT project Deadfellaz. The animated avatars enable holders to present themselves on YouTube and Twitch streams, as well as video calls. The newly launched Ethereum project allows NFT holders to appear as their zombified avatars on video calls and streams.

Deadfellaz collectors, known as “The Horde” will have the opportunity to use their JPEGs as video avatars, similar to virtual hosts like CodeMiko, Ironmouse, Mori Calliope, and Gaw Gura.

The Deadfellaz, which is part of the animated avatars representing real people behind the streams, will be optimized for use on Zoom, Google Meet, and YouTube.

Following the announcement of the new NFT avatar, users have already started testing it out. The new profile feature was developed by Hologram Labs, which also has a hand in projects like Cool Cats and Pudgy Penguins.

Users Can Showcase Games Using Zombified Cartoon Alter Ego

According to the developers, gamers can present themselves as their zombified cartoon alter ego when they are showcasing their game on Twitch. They can use these representations to match their movements when playing. Additionally, they can also add more fun twists to the profile in their net Zoom call to make their conversation more interesting.

Pseudonymous co-founders of Deadfellaz, Betty and Psych, stated that the feature has been under development for the past year. They reiterated that they will continue to provide creative extensions and resources that will enable them to express themselves as their avatar anywhere on the internet. This new feature offers several advantages as it is free of physical or societal bonds they experience in their everyday lives.

Deadfellaz Has Partnered with United Talent Agency To Gain More Presence

Deadfellaz was developed and launched in 2021. It was minted on the Ethereum blockchain and features a collection of 10,000 zombie-themed NFTs. Since its launch, the Deadfellaz collection has generated more than $100 million worth of trading volume, according to CryptoSlam.

Deadfellaz has also partnered with other platforms to grow and expand its presence. Last year, it collaborated with United Talent Agency to expand other areas, including live events, gaming, merchandising, and brand partnerships. Deadfellaz has also partnered with brands like DraftKings and Wrangler.

The co-founders stated that the launch today is significant because it will add further utility for existing NFT holders, instead of trying to change for additional functionality of assets.

The co-founders reiterated that they will be adding more value to the digital identity they hold dearly rather than selling more to the community. It will represent a huge moment for everyone and the Horde, and an exciting entry for gamers and the video streaming community.
