Chainlink VRF To Be Integrated Into Earn Alliance For Last Remains NFT Mint

Web3 gaming service provider Earn Alliance has announced a collaboration with Chainlink’s Verifiable Ransom Function (VRF). According to the announcement, Earn Alliance will leverage Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network on Pollygon’s mainnet. The network will provide a verifiable and secure source of randomness, which is important to ensure a fast NFT mint for the distinctive battle royale game, Last Remains.

The integration will encourage more user engagement by assuring that there is genuine fairness in the selection of the Genesis NFT mints.

Earn Finance has reiterated its desire to offer a comprehensive suite of services for Web3 games. These include player onboarding, marketing NFT launches, and building communities. All these services are very important for connecting Web3 games with their player base, Earn Finance reiterates.

Earn Finance Sets To Launch Last Remains

Apart from the services Earn Finance is offering, the company also wants to rectify the increasing issue of low-quality Web3 games in the current market, beginning with the launch of Last Remains.

The game reimagines the battle royale in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested kind of setting. Here the marksmanship is as important as the strategic stealth. Additionally, the game utilizes progressive economics to prioritize players, with half of all the game revenues redistributed to expert players through esports tournaments.

A reliable random number generator (RNG) was required in preparation for the upcoming Genesis NFT open mint on May 16.

With this number, the players can make sure that the minting process was fair ad without any tampering. However, security apparatus needs to be deployed when designing RNG solutions for smart contracts. This is necessary to prevent any form of manipulation while upholding the integrity of the system.

For example, RNG solutions that are highly dependent on blockchain data like block hashes are prone to exploitation by validators or miners. Also, off-chain RNG solutions acquired from off-chain APIs are not very transparent and do not provide definitive integrity proof.

Chainlink VRF Will Also Address The Issue OF On-Chain Randomness

Chainlink VRF was selected after various solutions have been evaluated. According to the company, the VRF was chosen because of its security supported by on-chain validation, its support by a reliable oracle network, and its grounding in advanced academic research.

The Chainlink VRF will be operating using block data and will generate both a cryptographic proof and a ransom number.

Chainlink VRF has also addressed the issue of on-chain randomness, which has been generally manipulated by insiders or validators.

It also balances the odds between players and creators, as it offers fairness and unmatched transparency in the NFT mint process.

Founder of Earn Alliance, Joseph Cooper, stated that Chainlink VRF is a major tool that lures players to the NFT mint. He added that Earn Alliance will be offering an all-inclusive smart contract-free mint service for game developers. The goal is to ensure improved on-chain transparency within the gaming community.
