BoomLand releases Hunter On-Chain NFT collection that sold out in 18 seconds

While the cryptocurrency market continues to struggle under the effects of the bear market and the collapse of FTX, the non-fungible token (NFT) space has continued to record notable success. The first NFT collection released by BoomLand, Hunters On-Chain, sold out in 18 seconds, marking the company’s successful launch.

BoomLand’s inaugural NFT collection sells out in 18 seconds

18 seconds after BoomLand released the Hunters On-Chain NFT collection, all the digital assets were sold out. Hunters On-Chain is a battle royale game that runs on blockchain technology. In this game, the players can compete against each other. The game has different settings where players can compete to become the best hunters.

Each of the playable hunters on Hunters On-Chain is an NFT. The players can access these NFTs through the minting process, summoning, or trading them on the marketplace. The Hunters On-Chain game will run on the BoomLand metaverse.

Despite the success of the NFT collection, the company has not provided the official release game. However, the game is expected to debut this month amid a collaboration with Polygon Labs officially. Hunters On-Chain is receiving much interest because it has been recreated from the original Hunters game, with over five million installs on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The company commented on the success of its NFT release saying that it was grateful to the community for the overwhelming response. The company also added that the collectors who had received the NFT collection would get a chance to mint a Premium Hunter, which gives them an advantage during gameplay.

The founder and CEO of BoomLand, Hannibal Soares, commented on this development, saying that the company had been working on developing this game for the past year. “After 12 months of grueling hard work and against all odds, in one of the most difficult years in the blockchain industry, we finally did it,” Soares said.

Launching on Polygon

As aforementioned, this game will be released through a partnership with Polygon Labs. Polygon is a layer two network running on the Ethereum network. The network is gaining adoption across the blockchain gaming industry because of charging low gas fees and having fast transaction speeds. Its proof-of-stake consensus is also being seen as more environmental friendly.

Besides BoomLand, the other Web3 project that recently expanded to Polygon is Fractal. Fractal is an NFT platform launched exclusively for the gaming community. The co-founder of Fractal, Justin Kan, initially launched the project on Solana.

Fractal migrated to Solana under the same Web3 gaming attributes and features the project had in the Solana blockchain. Fractal’s features include an in-game NFT marketplace, a launchpad supporting project minting, and support for esports tournaments. Fractal currently provides access to NFT-supported games on the Polygon network. The platform allows users to browse and transact NFTs without leaving the game.
